Fuscus: hard rock guitar plugin VST3
Fuscus is a hard rock guitar plugin: the "brown sound" of a Plexi head cranked on a Variac, with the tape echo, phaser and flanger of late-70s pedalboards, all the way to 90s high-gain heads.
The "brown sound" of late-70s hard rock: a 100 W Plexi head cranked all the way and starved by a Variac, a tape echo in front of the amp, a phaser, an analog flanger and the stereo racks of the 80s. Seven eras, from '78 crunch to 90s high-gain heads.

A Plexi on a Variac.
Seven eras of one sound.
Umber is a 100 W head modeled stage by stage: triodes, bright cap, tone stack, power tubes that sag. The Variac lowers every voltage for that “brown” grit, rounder and more compressed.

The whole chain.

round clean that breaks up late, spring and vibrato
