Terms and conditions of sale

1. Seller
GothDSP plugins are sold by Louis Monier. Contact: support@gothdsp.com.
2. Products
GothDSP sells licences to use software (VST3 audio plugins and standalone applications), delivered by download. The features of each plugin and its system requirements are described on its page. A free 4-day trial, with no credit card, lets you check that it works on your computer before any purchase. It is limited to one trial per plugin, per account and per computer.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes (VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI)). Payment is made by bank card or by the other methods offered by Stripe, our payment provider: GothDSP neither sees nor stores your bank details. Promo codes are entered on the payment page.
4. Subscriptions
Monthly or yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel them at any time from your account (“Manage my subscription”): cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, at no cost, and the licence remains active until then. Without payment, the licence stops working after a 3-day grace period.
5. Lifetime licences
A lifetime licence is paid once. It gives access to updates of the major version purchased (1.x).
6. Delivery and activation
As soon as payment is confirmed, the licence key appears in your account and is sent to you by e-mail, together with the download link. The licence is activated in the plugin with an internet connection. It works on the number of computers provided for by the offer (one by default) and, depending on the configuration, from a single internet connection; you can switch computers by deactivating it from the plugin or your account, and reset the connection lock from your account.
7. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium whose performance begins, with your prior express consent, before the end of the withdrawal period, and for which you have waived this right. Before paying, you request immediate access to the plugin and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal by ticking the box provided. This is why we offer a free trial: test before you buy.
If a plugin does not work on your computer despite a compliant configuration, contact us within 14 days: we will look for a solution and, failing that, we will refund you.
8. Guarantees
You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content (Articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): in the event of a lack of conformity, you can have the plugin brought into conformity or, failing that, obtain a price reduction or the termination of the contract.
9. Use
Use of the plugins is governed by the end user licence agreement, accepted at installation. Sharing, reselling keys and circumventing the licensing system result in revocation of the licence without refund.
10. Liability
GothDSP is not liable for indirect damage (loss of data or projects). Remember to back up your projects. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law guarantees you as a consumer.

12. Disputes and mediation
Write to us first at support@gothdsp.com: most problems are settled quickly. Failing agreement, you can use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform. These terms are governed by French law.
